George "Spanky" McCurdy, Philly's own Drummer better known as Spanky found his intstrucments in chruch just as lots of other talents do. Spanky started off playing drums for Tye Tribbett in 2000 when Tribett was still trying to break in the gospel industry. However Spanky was blessed to be heard by millions of talented people thoughout the world. Soon he was getting opportunities with P-diddy, Kanye West, Backstreet boys just to name a few. Spanky soon becomes a founding member of Soundcheck, Tribbett famed gospel band that integrates hip-hop beats with gospel cords.
